realizing I write for me
Today I decided to unpublish a few poems I wrote and posted here a little while back.
Not because they didn't garner the response I'd like or because they felt too vulnerable (motives that have often driven the culling of my writings in the past) but because I had the idea to add a words page to my site.
I'd always felt that simply posting poetry wasn't doing it justice, but never could pin down why.
Maybe this is what I was yearning for, something more interactive.
Something that makes it feel like less of a spectator sport.
